NWHO Skill Development Program -Economic Empowerment Through livelihood Trainings
In 2006 NWHO initiated skills development Program with the aim to alleviate poverty and economically empower disadvantaged youth through training and skills development. Later the A1 Skills Trade Promotion & Training Organization project was established to further the mission of Skill Development Program and to help disadvantaged youth by providing income generating skills training courses.
NWHO Scholarships & Talent Awards
Due to increasing expenses in education, more than 70 % of the students in Pakistan are not able to carry on their education. According to UNESCO Pakistan is facing a challenge of the low literacy as compared to other countries and it has one of the lowest literacy rates in the world. In this scenario NWHO has been helping the needy/ low-income students by providing books, uniforms and tuition fees.
NWH’s Emergency Health Project 2010
20 million people were affected by the 2010 floods, 14 million needed emergency health care, 6 million needed food and 3.5 million children are vulnerable to water borne diseases. NWHO’s Emergency Response Team started setting up medical camps to treat flood victims and started an ambulance service in flood affected areas of the KPK during floods.
Educational Projects
Educating children is one of the key to ending poverty. We build and renovate schools, vocational training centers and training institutions and provide school supplies (copy, books i.e.) and scholarship to support children get a better education at local level and parents earn a secure living.

New World Hope Alshifa Clinic & Maternity Home
NWHO established the New World Hope Alshifa Clinic & Maternity Home in 2008 in Rawalpindi. which is providing free medical services to the poor families in surrounding areas and afgan refugees located between Islamabad and Rawalpindi.The location of the clinic was chosen in response to the lack of low cost medical services in the area.
Non formal schooling project 2010 for flood affected children in KPK
During floods 2011- 2015, NWHO has been set up non formal schools in affected areas to educate children in area.
Free Medical camp at Akora Khattak Afghan refugee camp -2007
NWHO visited Akora Khattak afghan refugee camp where thousands of newly arrived Afghan refugees were living without basic living facilities. We provided free medical treatment, consultations and medicines to the poor Afgan refugees, who didn't have proper jobs and money for medical treatment.
NWHO Distributed Food Items and Relief Goods in Akora Refugee Camp - 2007
NWHO delivered humanitarian assistance to poor Afgan refugee families in Akora Khattak afghan camp, Nowshera, Pakistan. 250 families received blankets and 200 families received food baskets contained the following items 4 kg rice, 2 kg sugar, oil, 2 packs dry milk powder, 3 tea cases, 2 lattice bags, 4 cheese trays, canned broad beans, canned chick peas, 5 soap bars, salt 1 bag, 1 shampoo.
Food Distribution in Afghan Refugees Camp Akora Khattak- 2008
NWHO in coordination with its volunteers distributed and served hot meals to the refugee children and women in Akora Khattak.This distribution was for the poor and needy Afghan refugees who had been suffering serious economic hardship due to lack of employment opportunities.
The winter relief project planned to help 400 families because in Afghan refugees camp, Akora Khattak many refugee families were living without electricity or heat and they were surviving the cold harsh winter. In their miserable condition NWHO distributed blankets, winter clothing and food to more than 400 refugee families so that they could live in the severe winter.
