The organization properly maintains documents pertaining to financial transactions (balance sheets, income & expenditure statements etc.) in an easily retrievable form. Salaries and petty cash registers, fixed assets register etc. are regularly maintained.
The audit is the review mechanism that provides assurance to senior management on the effectiveness of internal controls as well as coordinating the finance management process within the organization. It is done every year by professionally qualified accountants. The names of banks and auditors of the organization are circulated to the Board members. An annual audit is conducted regularly and the audit report is duly circulated to the board members.
The organization has a joint signatory system.
The organization’s expenditures are in line with organizational policies. The funds are used for the purpose they have been obtained for.
Information regarding capital expenditure, local travel of board members, maintenance of office, remuneration to staff is publicly disclosed.

New World Hope Organization consists of male & female members who are from different fields of life i.e. I.T. professionals, lecturers, doctors, nurses, food technologies, social workers, marketing professionals, students and youth of the area.
New World Hope Organization depends on volunteers for many aspects of our operations to augment our support staff. Our programs and staffs are continually growing. NWHO believes that everyone has the power to give. INTERNAL GOVERNANCE
The general body consists of ten members who meet once a year and follow the conditions laid down in the memorandum of association of the organization.
New World Hope Organization has specified a 4-year term for its board members.
The charter contains an intrinsic mechanism to be adopted to effect an amendment therein. The process for bringing about the amendment is democratic.
The organization has a clearly defined job description statement for its middle level management employees.
The general body of the organization acts for and represent the organization in all matters and executive the policy and decisions of board of directors (BoDs).
NWHO is following accepted best practices for recruitment of their employees. NWHO is also an equal opportunity employer. Men and women are comparably paid within their respective categories and receive staff development and training opportunities.
The NWHO has a conflict of interest policy applicable to general body members and senior management staff. The organization has a grievance settlement policy and employees feel that they have a chance to settle their grievances internally, NWHO performance evaluation policy; this policy establishes guidelines for performance evaluations of professional staff.

The NWHO is a signatory to the Code of Good Practice for NGOs Responding to HIV/AIDS. Our commitment and response to HIV is guided by the Code of Good Practice for NGOs Responding to HIV. The Code of Good Practice sets out key standards, methods and evidence base required for effective responses to HIV and organizations commit to continuous improvement and accountability by supporting the Code of Good Practice.
The NWHO is a member of the CHS Alliance and adheres to the guidance notes and indicators of the CHS which are a supplement to the Core Humanitarian Standard on Quality and Accountability (CHS).
The NWHO is a full member of People In Aid which is an internationally recognized management tool that helps development and humanitarian assistance agencies enhance the quality of their human resources management.
The NWHO is a member of the Keeping Children Safe Coalition and is also committed to the Keeping Children Safe Standards. The purpose of the Keeping Children Safe is to achieve the highest level of protection for children and advocates organizations for the adoption of international standards on safeguarding children.
The NWHO is also committed to the Sphere Humanitarian Charter and Minimum Standards in Disaster Response. The Sphere Project is based on two core beliefs: first, that all possible steps should be taken to alleviate human suffering arising out of calamity and conflict, and second, that those affected by disaster have the right to a life with dignity and therefore a right to assistance.

DELEGATION OF AUTHORITY
NWHO has developed clear written policies regarding the authority for each level of management and staff. The staff is empowered to take decisions at all levels. Procedure manuals and policy documents are available for its all staffs.
