Relief for Victims of Flood in Pakistan
In February 2005, flooding, avalanches and a broken dam affected nearly 500,000 people of Pakistan.
This recent flood had most of its impact in three tehsils i.e. Dasht, Ormara and Pasni of Gawadar district causing damage to houses, dam; standing crops, orchards, livestock, school buildings and water supply schemes. More>>> |

Earthquake Disaster Relief
NWHO responded to the earthquake of 8 October 2005 and started its relief operation immediately and the field team comprising NWHO staff and volunteers reached the affected areas and started needs assessments for temporary shelters and food items. Within hours of the earthquake, New World Hope(NWH) was distributing life-saving relief items including food, water, tents and clothes. Emergency relief teams also provided medical assistance and helped clear the roads of debris. More>>> |

NWHO Distributes Child Blankets & Winter Jackets Among Refugees

In January 2008,The winter relief project in Afghan Camp in Akora Khattak has been planned to help500 families and vulnerable children because some refugee children in Akora Khattak Afghan refugee camp died due to harsh cold weather. NWHO distributed necessary supplies for refugees in the camps so that they could live through the severe winter. 850 winter jackets and 400 Child blankets were distributed. More>>> |

Family Assistance & Orphan Support Programs
This program helps poor families establish small businesses and generate income. The program is conducted in Pakistan by NWHO for Relief & Development with the cooperation of the Partner organization. Women's Rights

Any country cannot emerge as a developed, progressive and enlightened state unless women enjoy equal rights and are allowed equal opportunities of growth. More often than not women are discriminated against in one way or another purely on the basis of their gender, which is shocking beyond belief. NWHO is a strong exponent of women empowerment and wants to see their participation in all walks of life.
For many years, the women of Pakistan have been denied the most basic of rights – the rights to an education and even the rights to decide matters relating to their own marriage and divorce. Those denied these rights are also deprived of the right of equality in a male dominated society where women remain subservient to men.
