Green Environment Awareness Walk

In order to create mass awareness about consumer issues, emphasize the need for protecting consumer interests by relevant authorities and involve more and more people in the activities of the NWHO, it organizes walks on important occasions. Such walks often have great demonstrational effect and significantly help in increasing awareness. It has become a permanent feature of NWHO to organize walks to mark the World Consumer Rights Day and environment awareness day every year.
More than 30 members joined NWHO staff and Board members on our "Green Environment Awareness Walk"
In 12 October 2006, NWHO arranged its "Green Environment Awareness Walk" to commemorate the World Environmental problems and its solutions. People from all walks of life including consumer groups, civil society activists, journalists, lawyers, academicians, students and women participated in the walk. The walk was given coverage by both the print and the electronic media.
