The Organization
New World Hope is a non-profit, non-political, non-religious & non-governmental organization committed to sincerely serving the world by caring for individuals, families and communities, established in 1996, governed by a board consisting of professionals with comprehensive knowledge and understanding about social development, investing their efforts in humanitarian relief & environmental preservation programmes. Since its founding in 1996, NWHO has become one of the world’s foremost humanitarian assistance and environmental preservation organization.
New World Hope Organization (NWHO) is purposely established by Pakistanis from different professional, cultural and social backgrounds to enhance knowledge, respect and observance of humanitarian aid, and to encourage exchange of information and experiences for investing in the people for a change and developments in all spheres of their lives and New World Hope Organization is Registered with the Government of Pakistan under Societies Registration Act. XXI of 1860.
New World Hope Organization is humanitarian assistance and environmental preservation organization based in the Pakistan. NWHO has programs in the following broad areas: health, education, environment, water and sanitation, humanitarian relief, disability, climate change and natural disasters research and policy, victims of natural or man-made disasters, poverty alleviation, woman and child rights. This organization is not based on Religion, race, color or origin. We do not discriminate. We are here simply to save the Humanity.
NWHO with a strong his volunteer network, organization members, individual members and organization partners, is working nationally and internationally on humanitarian relief and environmental preservation programmes. In small villages and large cities around the world, NWHO builds local capacity to improve education, health care, leadership capabilities and economic opportunities. We work with many organizations, foundations, agancies and institutions on humanitarian relief and environmental preservation programmes, from local and national NGOs to national and international decision-making bodies.
NWHO has developed different training courses and modules related to Health, Education, Poverty Alleviation, Environment Preservation and Disaster Management.
NWHO looks forward to expanding its partnerships with other NGOs in the effort to provide more efficient and sustainable human development programs. NWHO pledges that it will exert every possible effort to preserve its donors’ trust and to ensure the delivery of donations to those who are in need.

- To contribute towards the development, adaptation and promotion of appropriate science and technologies related to Earthquakes and Environment Preservation.
- To undertake support and subsidize measures programs and plans for reducing and eradicating pollution and improving environment.
- To innovate and disseminate the means for creating sustainable livelihoods on a large scale, and thus to mobilize widespread action to eradicate poverty, hunger and regenerate the environment.
- Environmental summer camps and tree planting campaigns.
New World HopeOrganization consists of male & female members who are from different fields of life i.e. I.T. Professionals, Lecturers, Doctors, Nurses, Food Technologies, Social Workers, Marketing Professionals, Students and Youth of the area.
New World Hope Organization depends on volunteers for many aspects of our operations to augment our support staff. Our programs and staff are continually growing. Volunteers are the backbone of NWHO. There are many caring and committed individuals and groups across the world who volunteer their time and expertise; they are part of the large team of NWHO volunteers around the world.

Affiliation

At the field level, NWHO works with Environmental and Humanitarian Organizations; and individuals that have expertise in the areas of NWHO interventions. NWHO is a member of several International Organizations as well.

NWHO Researchers
NWHO researchers are invited to deliver numerous talks/presentations at both national and international conferences/seminars to disseminate information and raise awareness on a wide range of sustainable development issues including environmental degradation, humanity initiatives, current economic situation, food security, poverty alleviation, Child / Adolescent welfare, health and development. Women’s welfare health and development, Water and Sanitation, Natural or Man-Made Disasters, human resource and development., health education and youth development, disability, Climate Change, participation in education and environment and energy etc.
A substantial part of the completed research work is presented at various conferences and seminars at the national and international level. Over the years, NWHO has received favourable feedback and appreciation on many of its research presentations and articles. Furthermore, NWHO assists other research institutions on their research work through comments and advice.

Events Series
NWHO organizes mostly lectures, seminars panel discussions and conferences as part of its advocacy efforts to educate stakeholder groups on various aspects of sustainable development. These events provide valuable public space for open debate and intellectual discussion on various sustainable development issues. These also attract a large and diverse audience and are extensively and regularly covered in the press. In addition to the regular events series, a few special events are also arranged.

During 2005 there were over 700,000 beneficiaries of NWHO humanitarian activities. These included vulnerable children, women and old men.

Approach and Methodology Adopted in Decision Making
Selection of the working areas by visits, baseline survey, and by the existed documents
Financial Management :
- The organization properly maintains documents pertaining to financial transactions (balance sheets, income & expenditure statements etc.) in an easily retrievable form. Salaries and Petty cash registers, Fixed Assets Register etc. are regularly maintained.
- The audit is the review mechanism that provides assurance to senior management on the effectiveness of internal controls as well as coordinating the finance management process within the organization. It is done every year by professionally qualified accountants. The names of banks and auditors of the organization are circulated to the Board members. An Annual audit is conducted regularly and the audit report is duly circulated to the Board members.
- The organization has a joint signatory system.
- The organization’s expenditures are in line with organizational policies. The funds are used for the purpose they have been obtained for.
- Information regarding capital expenditure, local travel of Board members, maintenance of office, remuneration to staff is publicly disclosed.
