Million Tree Campaign in Pakistan

Pakistan has a forest cover of 4.22 million ha. In order to enhance area under tree cover in the country , tree planting campaigns are launched every year at the national level during spring and monsoon seasons.

The tree planting campaign was launched by the New World Hope Organization in 2007 with the objective of making a "green world". During this Campaign in Pakistan 01 Million saplings will be planted by the end of 2020 all over the country by NWHO teams, with involvement of general public, NGOs and corporate sector.
