Governance of NWHO

The general guidelines for the governance are spelled out in the Memorandum and Article of Association (Constitution) of the organization. The organizational structure directing and supervising the NWHO consists of Board of Directors (BoDs), General Body, Executive Director of the organization, Developmental and Technical Advisor, Executive committee, Management Committee , Supporting Staff, Project staffs, and Volunteers.
Board of Directors (BODs)
The New World Hope Organization (NWHO) is registered under the Societies Act 1860, and governed by a board of directors. NWHO Board of Directors, the supreme body of NWHO, elected by the General Body. whose function is to determine the policy and program of the Organization to enable NWHO to carry out its mission.
NWHO’s Board of Directors consists of seven members elected by the General Meeting, comprising of intellectuals. They are elected every Four years. BODs are a final authority in all matters relating to the organization.
General Body
General Body is a group of qualified individuals, nominated by BODs. Which acts for and represent the organization in all matters and executive the policy and decisions of Board of Directors (BODs).
New World Hope Organization’s General Body consists of distinguished individuals selected from numerous disciplines including community development, engineering, economics & finance, law, computing and technology, business and industry, social sciences, media, education, family and social welfare, health and medicine, women's studies, science and technology.
The major functions of the General Body are to consider, prepare and approve the annual budget and audited accounts of the Society & to create linkages with donor and financial institutions & to review the performance of the society & to act for and represent the society in all matters and executive the policy and decisions of BODs. The General Body consists of ten members.
Executive Director of the organization
Executive Director is responsible for the overall coordination and management of organization's activities. Executive Director is Mr. Shahzad Ismail, Founder Member of the organization.
Developmental and Technical Advisor
Developmental and Technical advisor is recruited among persons having experience from education, deep knowledge in environmental protection, human rights, humanitarian relief, development related issues, and disabled people, gender and possessing managerial experience. He/she has human skills leading patiently and faithful to the vision, mission and core values of the organization (NWHO); skillful in making analysis, interpretation and presenting viewpoints to safe and protect the Human rights, and environment, as well as having seniority of working with international/national non-governmental organizations at least for over 7 years with an age of upper 40 years old.
Management Committee
Management Committee is a group which has to realizes the actions of the organization and implement the plans and instructions, already examined and discussed with the Board of Directors, and operated under the supervision of a chairman.
