New World Hope is running the educational, training, Awarness and skill development projects in the different areas where the need is much appreciated. NWHO's vision is that all children have access to good quality education. NWHO helps children and adults gain literacy, numeracy, and technology skills.

NWHO also works to increase girls’ access to education and helps students acquire the ability to learn on the job and adapt to change. Because of these projects, people are developing the capacity to contribute to local productivity and the global economy. They are becoming a workforce that can take care of their families, participate in democracies, and serve as a foundation for their nation’s ongoing progress.

To create an awareness of education among the deprived communities to develop respectable and better living standards and think for a bright future. New World Hope Organization is achieving its goal to promote the education. In our Educational programs we provide all necessary needs and assistance to helpless and needy children i.e. all sort of help to get admission in schools and colleges, the renovation of schools, college, and assist them in form of monthly fees, uniforms text books and stationary, pick and drop facility to the student. We continuously provide educational materials to schools, colleges and educational centres.

Salient Objectives

  • Create awareness of education among the deprived communities to develop respectable and better living standards and thing for a bright future.
  • To establish vocational institution and sponsor short term professional courses especially for people residing in rural and remote areas for promotion income generating capacity.The main object being to resolve the problem of unemployment.
  • To arrange establish,support and subscribe various programs aiming at promoting rate of literacy. To achieve this objective institutions departing education may be established: Workshops and seminars may be arranged and sponsored.
  • To provide services in the field of computer by educating in this field.
  • Educate a child under least bit of depression due to property crisis and develop motivation to build a respectable future.
  • Help the parents to fulfil their desire of their children education and develop thinking power for better for their families

NWHO is supporting the Several tuition centers, Academies, Computer Training Centres, Schools and Colleges. Through NWHO’s efforts, thousands of children are able to attend schools, colleges and education centres that are modern, spacious and fit for a proper education.

Goals and Objectives of the Project:

    * Provide training to poor and socially       Disadvantaged people on:*Computer,       Electrical Trade, Automobile, Driving,       Refrigerator and Air Counditioning (RAC)       REPAIR
    * Provide assistance to poor and unemployed       students as an incentive to enhance their       skills so that they would be able to contribute       to the betterment of  the society as well as       their families.

    * Provide training on assistance for poor        Students for self employment
    * Job placement

NWHO Non formal schooling project 2010 for flood affected children in KPK


The flooding in the summer of 2010 not only took thousands of lives, demolished millions of homes, and destroyed acres of agricultural land, but it even completely wiped out educational infrastructure and facilities over a third of Pakistan's landscape. The future of the nation; the youth were at a severe disadvantage. Hence, recognizing the lack of schooling facilities in the flood affected regions,  NWHO set up Non Formal Schools in the Nowshera District to allow students aged 5 to 20 to continue their education after the flood 2010 and  also taught basic life skills such as proper hand-washing and hygiene.  NWHO has also distributed textbooks, school bags and stationery to flood affected children of Sartaj Abad and Yousaf Abad.

Math, Urdu, English, Islamiyat and art are among the subjects taught to 300  students at a non-formal schools run by NWHO in Sartaj Abad and Yousaf Abad villages (Flood affected Villages). Eid gifts of shalwaar suits for the children were distributed by NWHO two days before Eid.  Photogallery

     
School Earthquake Safety and Preparedness Training Program



The School Earthquake Safety and Preparedness Training project was started in January 2009 with a purpose to promote a culture of earthequke safety in the schools of Pakistan.

The aim of School Earthquake Safety and Preparedness Training project is to establish in 20 schools in 04 selected districts (05 schools per district) in one year. Minimum 500 students in each of these schools will be receiving disaster awareness and earthquake preparedness training through Lectures based on power point presentations, practical activities, short films and documentaries on earthquakes, workshops, practical life-saving skills and first aid training programme More>>>

 

Talent Awards Ceremony and NWHO announced to give the books and fee of needy students


The Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony was held on 31 March 2008 in honour of those students who had earned top positions . Prizes were given to the students right from LKG to 12th std In New Al-Hijra Girls High School & New Al-Hijra Degree College.


On the occasion, NWHO gave away the prizes to the top position holder students as well as NWHO also announced to give books, fee and any other sort of assistance to the needy and poor students during session 2008-09 and in future also, who could not afford fee, uniforms and books. More>>>

Training Workshop on Climate Change and Disaster Risk Reduction

The Training workshop on Climate change and disaster risk reduction was held in Jhelum, Pakistan, on 5 November 2009, and Organized by New World Hope Organization. Rehabilitate Dropout Children Of Agricultural Labourers & Landless Families And Provide Life Education Through Non-Formal Education Centers In Three Village of Charsadda District

Aims of Project:               
To empower children with the knowledge and skills necessary to protect their Rights as children, and provide them the necessary support and assistance for reinstatement in their families where possible, and help them develop as respected and productive citizens.

The target group:
The target group comprises children who are the target population belonging from agricultural wage labourer and landless families and dropouts from the school and non-literates.Total number of children identified by the NWHO team is 150 totally.  Their age groups between 7-11.  
 


 

Towards Eliminating Child Labour In Wastepicking Sector Through Education


Location: District Rawalpindi
Project Duration: 1 Year
Current Status: Completed

The target group comprises children who work in the field of waste picking children and who do not currently attend any formal education system. The children, between the ages of 8 years to 14 years, are often seen to be in the profession as they important contributors to the family earnings.  

The project aim at strengthening a program that is specially targeted at wastepicker children and meets their educational needs. The project seeks to use continue, strengthen and introduce new components in an existing initiative working with wastepicking children.
