NWHO distributes child blankets & winter jackets among refugees. December, 2007
In January 2008,The winter relief project in Afghan Camp in Akora Khattak has been planned to help 500 families and vulnerable children because some refugee children in Akora Khattak Afghan refugee camp died due to harsh cold weather. NWHO distributed necessary supplies for refugees in the camps so that they could live through the severe winter. 850 winter jackets and 400 Child blankets were distributed
NWHO gave a quick response and distributed winter jackets to the children and Child blankets in the refugee camp. This package of two jackets and one Child blanket/per family was distributed to the whole camp. NWHO also distributed packages of blankets, jackets, mats and daily necessities such as plates, buckets, and heaters were also distributed to Afghan refugees Afghan refugee camp in Kohat. This package was distributed to 400 Afghan refugee families.
